Strike's first day draws 500 picketers and lots of media attention.  The NY Times, the NY Sun, the New Yorker, Fox News, and The Scientist are just a few of the news outlets reporting on our strike.

Teaching and Research Assistants Garner Majority Support For Unionization.  On March 26, 2004 State Senator David Paterson's office counted our union cards, and certified that a majority of TAs and RAs who are currently working support the union.  Senator Paterson has written a letter to President Bollinger asking him to agree to an official card count by a neutral third party.  Read more about it here:
